This episode is another ska themed show.
Opening the podcast is a band from Vancouver, BC,
called Rude City Riot. They're a six-piece
that plays some sweet power-ska. A new album is currently set to be
released soon. Here more of their tunes here. Another sweet track
from Big D and the Kids Table from their
album, How It Goes. They too have a new album coming out this
year. Exit 24 was a ska band from the
island of Oahu. I never got to see those guys play, but rocked
their EP, Read...Break!, all throughout high school. I think
some members went on to play in other local island ska
bands. Stuck Lucky comes from Nashville,
TN. Awesome stuff. They'll be playing Bloc Party in April as well
as select dates on the Ska is Dead: Young Guns tour. Bloc Party
looks awesome and wish I could make it. More info on
that here. Also on the episode is
a track from New Zealand's, Night Gaunts.
